The Spiritual Use of the Merkaba: Activating Ascension Within
At some point on the path to spiritual enlightenment, many will be guided to activate their Merkaba or light-body. Often this is the guidance that comes through during my soul aligning or spirit guide sessions.
But what is the Merkaba?
Derived from ancient Egyptian and Hebrew traditions, the Merkaba refers to a powerful energetic field or light-body that surrounds the human physical body. It is a sacred geometric shape, representing the ascent from the earthly to the spiritual realm.
The word Merkaba is composed of three parts: "Mer" meaning light, "Ka" meaning spirit, and "Ba" meaning body. Combined, they symbolize the integration and alignment of body, mind, and spirit into a harmonious whole. One of the primary spiritual uses of the Merkaba is the facilitation of spiritual ascension. As individuals awaken to their true nature and seek to evolve on a deeper level, activating the Merkaba is a transformative experience. It serves as a tool to access higher dimensions, align with Source consciousness and increase abilities such as psychic knowing, energy healing, telepathy, astral projection and more.
The process of activating the Merkaba begins with personal transformation or “alchemy". There are 7 stages of spiritual alchemy. With each stage, beginning with an awakening, one identifies and releases the limits of the ego mind and begins to tap back into, or re-connect to the Higher Self or higher consciousness. The Merkaba is an integral part of the re-connection process that typically occurs within the 4th stage of spiritual alchemy, and serves as a vehicle into higher states of consciousness. The 4th stage focuses on the opening of the heart chakra so that it may be used as intended- as a bridge to the spiritual chakras and higher dimensions of consciousness. Once the heart chakra gateway or portal is open, one envisions themselves inside of the Merkaba and uses it as a vehicle for astral projection, transporting one into higher realms.
Once the Merkaba is activated, individuals may experience profound spiritual insights, expanded awareness, and a heightened sense of connection to the divine. The Merkaba acts as a conduit for divine energy, allowing individuals to tap into their innate spiritual potential and access higher dimensions of reality.
It is important to note that the Merkaba is not just a spiritual tool but also a vehicle for personal transformation. In the later stages of alchemy as individuals embody the Merkaba's energy, they become vessels for divine love and light, radiating these energies out into the world. It is through this embodiment and radiance that they can contribute to the collective awakening and healing of humanity.
