Chakras 8-12: The Gateways to Universal Knowledge
If you are into yoga or spirituality in general, no doubt you are well acquainted with the 7 Chakras. Balancing these energy vortexes, and understanding how they affect not only our physical bodies, but our energetic bodies is vitally important to our well-being, finances, health, relationships, creativity and spiritual development.
But there is a great deal more beyond those seven chakras. As we progress on our inner transformational paths, we begin to gain access to spiritual realms that transcend the physical world, and to do that, we activate and engage with our higher dimensional spiritual chakras.
Some of us are even becoming aware of how to activate the 22 chakra system which creates a Diamond Light energy field and engaging in the ability and knowledge that is available through that system. But first, we must focus on those chakras just beyond the well-known seven.
Chakras 8-12 are the gateways into higher dimensional states, connection to our cosmic origins, our star guides and soul consciousness.
I have a specific process that I use with my clients to activate and engage these chakras that was shown to me by my stellar spirit guide. The extent of the activation for the individual chakras depends on each person’s stage of spiritual alchemy, and energetic blueprint at the time.
But, for informational purposes, here is an overview of chakras 8-12 ,and some practices you can do for yourself to begin the process of tuning into them.
8th Chakra - Soul Star Chakra
Located 6-12 inches above the crown chakra at the top of the head. Associated with spirituality, inner wisdom, soul purpose and path. Realization of your Star Origins.
Ways to activate:
Meditate visualizing divine white or gold light entering through the soul star.
Chant the seed mantra "OM" while focusing energy upward.
Picture your soul star opening as a portal to higher guidance.
9th Chakra - Causal Chakra
Located at the back of the head or upper neck. Connected to universal consciousness, karma, higher understanding.
Activation methods:
Place hands at back of head during meditation to energize.
Slowly move head back and forth while concentrating on this space.
Imagine divine light pouring in and expanding awareness.
Chant "OM" and visualize the causal chakra blossoming open.
10th Chakra - Stellar Gateway/Unity Chakra
Found a few inches above the causal chakra at the crown of the head. Represents unity of the multi-dimensional self and connection to stellar guides.
Opening the stellar gateway/unity chakra:
Picture a glowing star or sphere of violet light above your head.
Affirm "I am one with all" or "I am universal consciousness."
Move energy up through each chakra and out the unity chakra.
11th Chakra - Galactic Chakra
Located a foot or more above the head. Connects to galactic knowledge.
Galactic chakra activation:
Visualize it spinning above your head during meditation.
Imagine divine light pouring down into your crown while stretching up through your galactic chakra.
Chant "OM" while picturing a spiral of energy moving between these two chakras.
12th Chakra - Universal Chakra
Found high above the galactic chakra. Represents unity with the entire cosmos, wisdom, absolute truth, ascension
Universal chakra practices:
Picture universal light streaming down into your system.
Meditate on the three virtues of truth, knowledge, love.
Send intentions out through the universal chakra.
Visualize your higher self merging with the universe.
